Regular certifications, as well as internal and external audits, underline our high quality standards and, at the same time, form the basis for a lasting and trusting co-operative relationship with our customers.

Over 200 permanently employed specialists work at 2W in the fields of technical documentation, visualisation, language services, product management, technology consulting, after-sales and remanufacturing. The exacting aspirations of the 2W team are demonstrated by the continuous review of process and results quality. This is regularly confirmed by independent third parties and reflected in the numerous certifications that the company has obtained over the years.

Information Security

Since November 2018, 2W has been listed as a certified company in accordance with TISAX Assessment Level 2. TISAX Assessment Level 3 prototype protection was successfully audited again in April 2024. TISAX® is a cross-company assessment and exchange procedure for information security in the automotive sector. Criteria include the protection of data in the manufacturing process as well as in the operation of vehicles. An information security management system (ISMS), similar to standard ISO 27001, is used for this. On the basis of this standard, the VDA Automotive Industry Association produced the ISA Requirements and Testing Catalogue for the Automotive Sector.

Successful ISO 27001 certification is regularly confirmed by Dekra to confirm that the 2W IT infrastructure and processes meet the most stringent security standards. This guarantees the confidentiality, integrity and availability of our customers' data and information. It is applied in all IT-related business processes, especially in data processing and storage.

Environmental Management

We want to address resource shortages and the destruction of natural habitats in the best possible way.​ Collaboration in networks and sensitivity to the environmental impacts of supply chains are key to this. We also decided to have our business model, processes and their impacts reviewed in accordance with strict environmental guidelines.

Quality Management

High quality is an integral element of our corporate philosophy and is essential for creating product experiences that inspire – and thus for the market success of our customers.

ISO 9001 sets the minimum requirements for products and services to fulfil legal and regulatory requirements, etc. In addition, ISO 9001 serves as the basis for other high-level structure standards, such as IATF 16949 for series production in the automotive industry.

Translation Services

ISO 17100 is the follow-up to the European standard for
translation services DIN EN 15038:2006 on a global level. It defines worldwide the specifications for core processes, resources and other aspects required for the provision of high-quality translation services. 2W Sprachmarkt has been successfully certified to ISO 17100:2015 since July 2019.

2W has also been certified to “ISO 18587 Machine translation" since June 2024. The use of machine translation systems (MT) is growing at a rapid pace to meet the needs of the translation and localisation sector. ISO 18587 sets out the guidelines for the complete process of human post-editing a machine-created translation, and the competences of the post-editor.
