2W once again wins the coveted „Bayerns Best 50“ award from the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs

2W once again one of Bavaria’s Best 50

(Munich, 28 July 2017) After winning the award in 2014, 2W Technische Informations GmbH may once again count itself among „Bayerns Best 50“ – the 50 fastest growing mid-size companies in Bavaria. During an awards ceremony held yesterday on Thursday at New Schleißheim Palace, both Managing Directors Uwe Düring and Michael Süßl received the coveted Bavarian porcelain lion from the hands of Bavarian Minister of Economic Affairs, Ilse Aigner.

Uwe Düring comments:

„For us, this award constitutes a very special honour, as it confirms for the second time now that we are successfully travelling along a path towards sustainability, stability and, at the same time, with an attitude targeted towards seizing opportunities. I want to convey a special thank you to our employees who have made a decisive contribution to this success with their proven expertise, personal commitment and enormous loyalty to ‚their 2W‘.

At this point, we would also like to mention our clients and partners. We have enjoyed exceptionally fair and cooperative business relationships with many of them for nearly two decades now. In this regard, mutual appreciation, trust and remarkable motivation form the important foundation for future-oriented collaboration. And this will result in significant innovations, successful services and extraordinary products.“

Michael Süßl adds:

„Over the coming years, we look forward to intensifying our efforts to continue developing into a top-class and attractive partner for clients and employees alike using investments, great ideas and in-depth entrepreneurship. And this, by the way, is also our answer to the ubiquitous shortage of skilled staff.“

The ‘Bayerns Best 50’ prize has been awarded by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology since 2002. In particular, the above-average, organic growth of turnover and number of employees over the last five years is one of the selection criteria. In addition, the business owner must be represented in management, on the executive board or on the supervisory board and must hold a minimum share of the company.
